    Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012)

    Jab Tak Hai Jaan
    Audience Ratings: 0.0

    Genre:  Romance

The late Yash Chopra is known for grandeur and an eye for detail. His last outing behind the camera is lavish on both counts. The splendor of Ladakh and London is captured beautifully - the detailing of scenes is impeccable. The late director infuses romance into every situation; capturing the mood of even the flowers in the vases! Every scene has a connotation to the ones preceding or the ones gone by. Only the length is a bit tiring as he labours to bring the love story to its ultimate end.

    Joker (2012)

    Joker

    Genre:  Sci-Fi | Fantasy | Drama | Adventure

JOKER is an alien concept. It is an attempt to get the eyeballs of the powers to this long-forgotten state called Paglapur, which now boasts of a scientist (Akshay Kumar) who is working on a project with NASA in the US of A to establish contact with Aliens. This state is full of lunatics. How Akshay managed to flee this mad house after Std III and set base in America is another story.

Big wind, loud thunder, no rain. 'Jism too' is all that and much less!

    Cocktail (2012)

    Cocktail
    Audience Ratings: 0.0

    Genre:  Romance | Comedy

It's a cocktail alright, but one which lacks punch. A flat drink with no fizz and lots of salt at the rim of the glass which knocks you back with its sting.

    Bol Bachchan (2012)

    Bol Bachchan
    Audience Ratings: 0.0

    Genre:  Comedy

In short, BOL BACHCHAN is like a quickly put up 'after dinner play' which one indulges in during their growing-up years to entertain their parents.

    Gangs of Wasseypur (2012)

    Gangs of Wasseypur
    Audience Ratings: 0.0

    Genre:  Crime

GANGS OF WASSEYPUR is buried in the heartland of Bihar from where emerge a melange of characters that define Kashyap's latest caper which encompasses pre-independence days as well, up until the 1990s. To have a grip on a story on paper is one thing, to translate it into a visual with every nuance weighed delicately and executed with finesse takes class of another level. Kashyap goes deep into every character, defining motives and giving a make-over to their persona apart from setting the locales to the 'T'. Not a single character is out of sync.

    Teri Meri Kahaani (2012)

    Teri Meri Kahaani
    Audience Ratings: 0.0

    Genre:  Romance

Kunal Kohli's latest is just gloss. TERI MERI KAHAANI is not only plain boring, but it also lacks imagination. With one lead pair of Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, Kunal weaves in three love stories in different settings and different eras. He shows us how the two bump into each other in a train in 1960s; they again bump into each other in London in 2012. Kunal then goes back in time to Lahore in 1910 when Shahid lands on Priyanka's terrace after a long chase by the English policemen. Remember we were then governed by the Britishers!

    Ferrari Ki Sawaari (2012)

    Ferrari Ki Sawaari

    Genre:  Comedy

FKS is a fun ride. Fathers too busy with their work to attend to their kids 'growing up' emotional needs will get an 'education'.

    Rowdy Rathore (2012)

    Rowdy Rathore
    Audience Ratings: 0.0

    Genre:  Action

Akshay Kumar is back at his boisterous best. The first thing that hits you with ROWDY RATHORE is Akshay's absolute conviction of the characters he has to play. Throwing caution to wind, he fights, dances and romances with gay abandon.

Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi (2012)

    Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi

    Genre:  Drama | Comedy

Casting has let the film down big time and that is very disappointing because this film had the potential to make an impact.

There are a few flaws, but I'd rather not dwell on those because the overall impact is massive.

    Agent Vinod

    Chaurahen (2012)

    Chaurahen
    Audience Ratings: 0.0

    Genre:  Drama

Beautiful in one word describes CHAURAHEN. Literally translated, it means crossroads and Rajshree Ojha depicts how it could even be a couple, almost 25 years into their marriage, at the Crossroads, not necessarily (as it is generally perceived) teenagers.

    Will You Marry Me? (2012)

    Will You Marry Me?
    Audience Ratings: 0.0

    Genre:  Comedy

The movie is enjoyable with a neat twist at the end. But had the editors made use of their scissors, this could have been a snazzier film. Nevertheless, it does entertain.

For two new actors to hold you mesmerized is laudable. This movie should be a definite 'must see' on your 'to do list' this weekend.
