The film, however, scores in its dialogue, which is simple but effective. Overall, a commendable effort by director Pramod Joshi who has made the film as a bilingual in Hindi and Marathi.

In an author-backed role, Sachin Khedekar pulls off the protagonist convincingly, expressing a wide gamut of emotions. Anupam Kher comes into form only in the second half and breathes life into the protagonist and the picture. Atul Parchure as Aditya's friend puts in a decent act.

Ups and downs: Excellent performance by Sachin Khedekar and Anupam Kher is one of the prime attractions and also the message to live a life is one reason to grab a ticket. No major star cast, no groovy numbers and lack of publicity will act as a hindrance for the film. If you have an intention to see a finer execution of thought that life is about living and not about existing, however, without many expectations on the story front, then Chhodo Kal Ki Baatein won’t disappoint you!
