For all those who want to move over from the Ramsay Bros... go watch 'Raaz 3' in 3D, at your own risk. But don't take it to your grave.

The second half goes just the way so many films do : down the chute. Or, in the instance of 'Raaz 3', in that 'in between place which are inhabited by pret-aatmas'. Right there, the little bit of frisson that the film managed to garner vanishes, maybe in that self-same place. Out come all the 'sadhus' and 'babas' with their 'mantras', and the `bhagwaan ki moorti', and it all boils down to the same old battle against good and evil, borrowing from older horror tropes from here and there.

At the very onset you realise that 'Raaz 3' is not merely a horror movie. Reason being that horror is just a part of the affair, not an affair in itself which means instead of ugly faces striking you from different corners and doors squeaking at the corner of the room or 'bhatakti aatma' terrorising you in the dead of the night, it is the predicament faced by the characters that engross you most.

All in all, Raaz 3 is cheesy and immature, though an entirely watchable Bollywood horror flick that is well worth the tickets and price of popcorn!

Mostly you find yourself fidgeting and glancing at your watch willing the torture would end – not for Sanjana, for yourself.
